Terms of use
The terms on which this website is made available.
The company profile is released under a non-disclosure agreement, which you accept on this site before the document is issued. A record of each acceptance is kept, as described in the privacy notice.
Who these terms are between
This website is operated by Dube & Shandukani Ventures (Private) Limited, incorporated in Zimbabwe, with its registered office at 785 Pomona Estate, Harare, and its office at 14 Thornburg Avenue, Groombridge, Mount Pleasant, Harare. Using the site means accepting these terms.
What this site is, and what it is not
This website describes the company, the sectors it works in, and the partnerships it seeks.
It is not an offer or invitation to subscribe for shares, and nothing on it should be read as one. The company is a private limited company. Private companies are restricted from inviting the public to subscribe for their shares, and the site is written to describe partnership and joint-venture opportunities rather than to solicit investment.
Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing here forms a contract, an offer capable of acceptance, or a commitment to enter into any transaction. Any actual arrangement will be set out in a separate signed agreement.
Accuracy, and its limits
We try to keep the site accurate and current. Mineral projects change, and licences, tonnages, grades, timelines and partner arrangements all move, sometimes quickly.
Where a page describes something as planned, targeted or in development, that is what it means, and it is not a claim that the activity is happening today. Where a figure is given, it is our best information at the date shown and is not a forecast or a guarantee.
Anyone considering a transaction with the company should rely on their own due diligence and on information provided directly under a signed agreement, not on this website.
Confidential documents
Some documents are released only after you accept a non-disclosure agreement. When you do:
- you are agreeing to the terms of that separate agreement
- the document is released through a link that expires
- the document remains confidential, and the agreement governs what you may do with it
- we record your acceptance, as described in the privacy notice
Please do not forward those links. They are tied to your acceptance, and passing them on both breaks the agreement you made and misrepresents who received the document.
Using the site
Please do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or the systems behind it, interfere with its availability, submit anything unlawful or malicious through its forms, or scrape it systematically.
Automated submissions are filtered, and a legitimate submission is occasionally caught with them. If that happens, email us directly and we will resolve it.
Intellectual property
The content, design, text, diagrams, maps and logos on this site belong to the company or its licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own information or to evaluate working with us. Please do not republish substantial parts commercially, or use our name or logo to suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist.
Links out
Where we link to another organisation’s site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your information.
Liability
The company’s liability arising from use of this website is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Zimbabwean law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect, and continuing to use the site after that means accepting the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have exclusive jurisdiction.
